Joy Womack is an internationally acclaimed ballerina, educator, and trailblazer in the world of ballet. As one of the first American women to graduate from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy and dance professionally in Russia, she has performed on some of the most prestigious stages across the globe, from Moscow to Seoul, Paris to Los Angeles. Her career spans principal roles with world-renowned companies, giving her a truly global perspective on ballet training, technique, and artistry.
With her extensive international experience, Joy understands the diverse approaches to ballet education and is passionate about helping the next generation of dancers reach their highest potential. Through the Joy Womack Ballet Academy (JWBA), she shares the refined techniques of the Vaganova method, expert training insights, and a deep commitment to building strong technical foundations, discipline, and artistry.
